200th post!!
Yeah! Yet another blog milestone. Thanks for reading, everybody! :)
Well, these past couple days have been good. Let's see, so my last post was Thursday? Okay, so from Friday on is what I will post about...
Well, Friday was just another average, normal day at Hyre Middle School. We finally got to pic out our jerseys. I got #21 again and #5 warm-up. Those things are so comfortable! For track last year I got a medium and the warm-up pants were like high-waters, so I got a large this time. I also had my orchestra test. Me and my stand partner, Lydia, were like sweating it out because, I don't know about her, but I wasn't too good at the section we were supposed to play. I was so nervous that I couldn't help pace around the room. One time I went up to the piano and pretended to bang really loud on it, and right when my fingers almost hit the keys the fire alarm went off. I was told I practically jumped half way across the room and Lydia jumped like 5 feet into the arm off her stool. Let's just say, it scared me half to death!
After practice, I got a Dr. Pepper and went home. Grandma and Grandpa took us out to dinner at Ryan's. I love buffets! Not because I eat a whole bunch (which honestly I don't) but because I can pick and choose, expiriment, and if I don't like something, I just leave it and get something else. Anyways, the food was really good. I had : macaroni and cheese, a roll, friend chicken, mashed potatoes, steak, cookies, Dr. Pepper, and milk. But like I said, I didn't eat all of it.
Wow, Jose can make one mean steak. I went up to steak counter and my buddy the steak chef, Jose, gave me this juicy, tender, oh-so-delicious slab of beef. Medium rare is the best. Of course, I almost choked twice because of the think, stringy fat glubbing all over the edges. I let Grandma have the rest that I couldn't finish. She was like, "Ay! When I cut this steak, I can hear the cow moo!" LOL! I was cracking up!
After the wonderful dinner we all went home to Grandma and Grandpa's with full stomachs and tired eyes. Grandma, Audrey, and I watched tv until about 9:30 before I was half dead and ready for bed. I slept really well to say the least.
This morning I woke up to the fried egg, toast and fried salami Grandma made me. I woke up a couple of hours before Audrey because I had a doctors appointment at 9:15. Mom picked me up at 8:15 and we talked for about 20 minutes before we headed to see Dr. Ginther. He told me that my foot was doing awesome, but that I still wear the aircast for a while longer, just so I don't hurt it again before it is healed. So that's 6 weeks postinjury. And I sprained it 2 weeks ago yesterday, so I only have to wear it for one month longer... >:-\ Grr...
After the appointment we went back to Grandma's to go shopping. On the way to JCPenny's, we stopped at the cemetary to see Grandpa Vic. It was a really nice spot, overlooking a river. I miss him... After that, we went to the Grand Opening of the new JCPenny's. Wow, big mistake! That place was paaaaacked! Audrey even said she saw US National Security officers there! I mean, it was loud and full of people. Pretty soon after walking into the door we decided to leave and go to Summit Mall. I got a new blouse to go with my brown skirt for tomorrow, two plain long sleeved shirts, a pair of jeans, and a new purse. Me and Audrey played the Disney Store Game. That's where you walk into the Disney store and try to get to the back of the store and touch the big screen without being asked "May I help you?" I lost because they were like "Hello, ladies, finding everything okay?", but Audrey won. Loser... LOL, JK. Soon after we headed home.
Which is where I am now. The OSU game was on ESPN I guess so I couldn't watch that :( They better've won! Well, words are so low g2g!
