A knot of my daily happenings, boredom posts, and venting periods. Sometimes humorous, other times, genuine. No matter what the topic, I'm sure you will enjoy reading.

I'm in a funky mood right now, kinda like this good looking guy. School was asi, asi. Speaking in which, I have a Spanish test tomorrow and I don't know the material too well! SO MUCH VOCABULARY!! I got a 9/10 on my Tom Sawyer quiz! Woo, go me! J/K. And um, we talked about hereditary human features and environmental mutagens and all that good stuff in science today. There was a fight in the middle of the hallway after lunch today. It was like the first fight I've seen all year, I missed all the others. Why can't we all just love eachother and get along? Sheez!

Well, the Lady Hawks are 5-0 now. Whoo! Talk about a tense game yesterday against Litchfeild. First quarter we whooped them 11-2, and then second quarter we got whopped. The Litchfeild coach was sneaky and snuck his best shooter in with the second team so she just kept shooting 3-pointers!! Second half, both teams kept in their 1st squads the whole time. There were 4 seconds left in the game and the score was 41-38 Litchfeild. Dacia got fouled and we called a time-out. Coach Firtha must have a lot of faith in this team because he told them this sneaky little play. So, Dacia shot the foul, bricked it, ran in for the rebound, threw it to Courtney standing at the 3-point line, and she made the shot right at the buzzer. We all went hysterical! So we went into overtime, winning by 4 points. Our next game is against Jennings (another 5-0 team) on Monday @ home!!

Practice went well today. We did the weave, chicken drill, no-dribbling scrimmage, and regular scrimmage. At the beginning of practice, we were all explaining every single detail of the game yesterday to Mr. E. "That's the second best game I've ever heard of!" with his team's game at #1, of course!

How would you do this inequality?: 9-2x>15. I tried it as x=.53 because 9-2x+2x>15+2x so 9>17x and 9/17>17x/17. So 9/17=.53. But 9-2(.53) is not greater(>) than 15!! Grr, stupid two-step inequalities with the alone term before the number x variable. Sorry, that's why I will never be a teacher, I cannot explain things, nor figure out this type of inequality. Now if it was 2x-9>15, I would easily be able to figure it out. Hehe, that was an interesting paragraph, eh?

Well, I still have to study for my Spanish quiz tomorrow and read Tom Sawyer (yuk) so G'Bye. Leave me a comment! :0)
