A knot of my daily happenings, boredom posts, and venting periods. Sometimes humorous, other times, genuine. No matter what the topic, I'm sure you will enjoy reading.

Friday, June 9

Oh wow .. well today was the last day of school. And needless to say, it was kind of hard. I mean, I was always like "this is the last time I'm going to ______ (fill in the blank)" In first period choir, we had a talent show ?? of somesort. I did The Moose Song with Libby and Kiera. Everyone was looking at us like we were retarded. Hah. It was great. And then Margo got up to sing "My Heart Will Go On"...... While she was singing, I was just thinking about this being my last day of middle school EVER and just realizing that wow, I'm in highschool next year. I looked over at Victoria and we just both started crying. Me and her starting talking this year and shes became a good friend.

Then came Wentzel's .. I am going to miss that class soooo much !! That is the class I looked forward to the most. I definatly had the most fun with Wentzel. Even he is was the most opinionated man I have ever met. :) Libby brought in cupcakes and Beth Krochka gave me a milk chug. I think the camera is about to die because I have taken so many pictures in the past couple of days.
After 9th period, we all had to go back to homeroom. Ah. That was so sad. Kiera is going to St. VM and so saying goodbye to her, and knowing I'm not going to see her for the longest time, was sad. And Lydia. Oh wow. I absolutly love that girl to death, and she's going to St. VM too. :'( I don't want to go to highschool. But I mean, it's not like I can do anything about it so I just have to be optomistic about it. Atleast I'll have Audrey :)

Wednesday was the 8th grade recognition assembly. I played in the orchestra as everybody came in and got seated. I wasn't too thrilled about that because I wanted to sit in the crowd with everybody else. And wow, my arm was throbbing. But I got to sit with Lydia which was fun. She kept taking weird pictures of Mrs. Stroll and Mr. E, though. Haha.I was so sad when Mrs. Leas recognized the orchestra. I've known her since I was in 4th grade, and my first orchestra class was on September 11, 2001. She was a great teacher and I'm going to miss her a lot. I got some awards for basketball, track, NJHS, and that sort of stuff .. but then what really surprised me was that I won the Scholar Athlete award. I had absolutly no clue. I remember the award from playing in the 8th grade assembly last yeat, but did NOT think that I would win it the next year. It was really nice to get it, though. :)
