HOLA

Well, it's 9:09 and Myspace isn't working yet again so I thought I would post. Philip being away at camp has made our house way to quite. I honestly never thought I would say this but I miss my brother so much it's driving me crazy !! I can't wait until he comes home tomorrow.

So, cross country started up and I am without a doubt the slowest girl on the team. During track, it took me about a month to build up some blisters, but I got blisters the very first day of cc. From Tuesday-Thursday I could see some pretty good improvements in my self. I guess I had more will and was more determined to keep going. My knee has been giving me problems yet again lately, and yesterday while doing a sprinting/stride excersise it popped. Oh wow it hurt. Coach Cochran told me to take today off, which I am so glad I did. My knee doesn't hurt thta bad any more, but my blisters are swollen and infected (ew gross I know ...) and they are making walking pretty much not an option.

So yesterday after practice, I came home, took a long bath, put on my scrub clothes, and the Hembree girls headed out to find a quince dress. First we stopped at the China King Buffet and had the coolest waiter guy. I love their vests !! I got like 5 egg rolls, won ton soup, chicken, hash browns, cream puffs, and these absolutly amazing flaky/sugar cookies. Yes, I was in heaven :]. Audrey and Mom were making fun of me because I couldn't walk. LOL I looked hilarious though.

So about that dress : We first went to Kaufmens and I fell inlove with this red dress that had a V-neck, haulder straps, and sequins. I felt like it was made for me. But we put it on hold while we hit some other stores. I'm not too crazy about DEB but Mom wanted us to look in there. And wow, that is where I found my dress !! It's rasberry colored (I know I wanted plumish but I figure that color would be out around winter, not summer) and very hard to describe. It has sequins, strapless (with optional straps that I will deff use) and some other fancyness. I love it :)
