Super Dee Duper Weekend!

Obviously, my weekend was very good!! Friday I got a paper 7th period from Mrs. Laktash telling me that I was chosen to represent Hyre in the All-City May Festival solo auditions on Wednesday. The only reason I even tried out to begin with was because all of my friends pressured me into it!! No, j//k. I wanted to do it for myself, as a way to overcome that humongo fear. Well, I did... sort of. I was pretty "shaky" though.. LOL

I got home and packed for the Skyview Retreat. WOO. What an awesome weekend!! Brown Street Baptist Church offically whomped Amherst in Ultimate Football, oh yeah. 11-2 WOO! I went horseback riding on this one horse named Bogey. It was this big pretty brown one and it looked stubborn, so I chose it, just because I like challenges. Well not that challenge. That animal would . not . go!! I was in the very back of the line and I was like 20 feet behind everybody else. I would kick it as hard as I could and that thing would not get faster. Then it got would randomly stop and back up. And I was soooo cold that my feet got numb and I couldn't kick it anymore. HAHA, but I felt real rugged. I did all that yee-haw, giddy-up, and woah nelly!! stuff. I even clicked my teeth like "KCK-KCK!!" Haha, well don't listen to any movies...that stuff doesn't work.

Friday night I was getting we (well, that me isn't all inclusive) were super super loud in the cabin. The lady from next door came over TWICE to tell us to shut-up. I jumped in Emily's bed because I was scared of her, and I won't go into that any farther haha.. But I was so scared that lady would come in with a hactchet next time. HATCHET LADY!! AHHH lol : )

The speaker this year was pretty good. He was emotional to say the least. But atleast that let me know he was sincere and he cared about everyone there. I made the decision to be more public about my faith and to stand up when I hear or see one of my friends making wrong decisions, or saying what should not be said. I mean, before I never accepted it, but I kept those feelings inside.
