A knot of my daily happenings, boredom posts, and venting periods. Sometimes humorous, other times, genuine. No matter what the topic, I'm sure you will enjoy reading.

Hello

Today was See You At The Pole. Tylesha came over at 6:30 and we went to the Hyre flagpole at 7:00. The only people there were the janitors, who were smoking up a storm, and the Pepsi truck man filling up the vending machines. We waited about 5 minutes to see if any people would show up. Unfortunatly, nobody did. So we started praying -- hard. At some points I felt like breaking down in tears, but not because I was sad, but because at that moment I felt so aware of God. Just the fact of me out in that cold, foggy air praying to the Master of the Universe and Him actually listening! Even though it there was only two of us, I still felt proud that I had the courage to do this. I am so glad Ty was there with me :)

So school went by slow. I had to sing very, very high in choir, which was not too cool. Then I had to take 2 quizzes the next to periods. Then came lunch. It's Wednesday so that means SSR day. Right now I am reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Yeah, kinda juvenile for me but hey, it's funny! The rest of the day dragged on and then I went home. Yeah, from 8:00-3:00 it is so boring. Adults: be happy you have graduated!

So obviously it is Wednesday. There was youth group tonight. Right when I walked in the door, Kristen pulled me into the hallway. She told me I had to shut up and not talk. J/K, those weren't her exact words. But she said that Clint was doing a lesson on communication with Christ (a.k.a. PRAYER) and that to help illustrate the importance of communication, I wouldn't be allowed to talk during the first part of YG. Meaning games and snack. So many times I wanted to blurt out something, or tell somebody something but I couldn't. It took a lot of control to not say anything. But, of course, I kind of let a few words slip to Audrey during songs...oops.

Well, that's the end of this little post. I'll try and post later this week. Hasta luego!
