Out With The Family!
Today was a good day!! Me and the fam spent the whole day together. It was really nice. Although, there were those moments when the atmospher got heated, I was glad to spend some "Q-time" with my beloved kin.
First we went to the mall to return some Christmas presents. Me and Audrey split up to find an outfit in exchange. That didn't happen! We ended up getting Crazy Horse wallets. We just absolutly needed them, but Audrey needed one the worst. All of her money was kept in a paper folder in her purse. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that! LOL Luv ya Aud!! So then we went to Sears and began looking at these really cute blouses, but then Mom called the cell and said we would meet at JCPenny's in 5 minutes, so we couldn't get them. Just as we were about to walk out the doors of the store, Mom says, "David, it's Jeff!" Sure enough, Jeff and Janet Reed were there. What a surprise!! We talked to them for awhile. "We'd just seen the Kozy's come through here, too!" they told us. Then Liz and Aaron Wilkinson walk in. What is this a Brown Street reunion? LOL.
Afterwards, we headed over to Regal cinema. We used the $10, un-expirable gift cards that were given to us 2 years ago for Christmas! We saw Narnia. Wow, that was such a good movie. I started crying 5 minutes into the movie. Me and Audrey shared a medium popcorn and coke. We said, "Do not eat anything until the movie starts." This was hard to do, because there is nothing like real theatre popcorn. What made it even worse was I had it on my lap and I was inhaling all of that butter. Audrey told me to think about the starving chilren all over the world, which made my lust and impacience for that popcorn seem petty and greedy. But as I was saying, that movie was so good!! It was cool to make all of these connections from the movie with the Bible. Especially when the lion said, "It is finished!" I looked over at Audrey with this like "Sweet!" expression on my face. She told me she thought it was kind of corny, but then I said people who know why he said that might think that, but other people would think it's so awesome! LOL, maybe I'm a little too dramatic. I don't want to give away too much incase you plan on seeing it, but at the end, Aslan (the lion) disappears and Mr. Tumnus tells the little girl that he'll be coming back soon, though they don't know when. :-D Everytime the little 9 year old girl cried, I did too. She was so adorable. The middle boy was a little brat, not implying in any way that middle children are brats! ;-) Why would I do that to myself? LOL
Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for dinner..sort of. Again, we used gift cards sent to us for Christmas. When we got there they said it would be a 75-80 minute wait.............
Yea, this is one of those times when I said we were just alittle mad. A bit of an understatment. Dad and Mom insisted we still eat there, so we headed over to Target until it was our time. I bought make-up and we got Tippy and new bed since she literally ate her other one. Finally after a long time of anger, I realized that I need to straighten up and get over myself! I apologized and we were seated pretty fast after re-arriving. I got pizza, since it was cheap and good! It was a very good meal. Unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks "rock the socks right offa my feet!" lol ;) We didn't begin eating until about 8:30!! So, I was pretty hungry!
All-in-all, I had a very good day. I'm so much more appreciative of my family. My parents, even considering the circumstances, still try and allow us to go out and have a good time =] I love them so much!
