Just A Little Blurp
Here's just a little updatation on what's been going on lately. I don't have a lot of time, so excuse the shortness::
Monday and Wednesday of this week I had the standardized OAT tests in Reading and Math. The reading was a little more difficult and involved than I'd thought it would be. But math was pretty easy. It was just very involved so it took up a lot of my time...
I got a new book from Wentzel called Summer of My German Soldier. It's about these Nazi POWs who go to a prison camp in Arkansas. The main character is a Jewish girl who has no friends and a mean family who beats her. She meets one of the soldiers, Anton, at the family store and becomes friends with him. She doesn't see him for a long time and then starts to "like" him. And that's as far as I've gotten. It sounds good, but I don't like it that much. :(
Yesterday was my audition for the May Festival solo. This feeling may be normal, but I don't think I did very good at all. I was nervous and kind of literally shaky. That definatly didn't help my voice. That sounded shaky, too. And I just hope one of the requirments is to show confidence..This isn't any sort of excuse, but Mrs. Laktash couldn't be there because she had to keep score for the wrestling match. I would have felt much more relaxed and at ease if she would have been there. But, as a trio, I think Margo, David, and I sounded great. :) I saw Ms. Best there. Wow, I remember in Kindergarden, I was chosen to as her little helper. When she left in 4th grade to go to Goodyear, I was sad :'(
Well, that's what's been going on. Was that short? LOL Idk. But yesterday was YG and Carl's devotion really gave me the urge to read the Bible on a constant basis. I'm truthfully lagging in that department...
WOOOOO HAVE A GROOD DAY. I MEAN GOOD.. AND GREAT. GREAT AND GOOD.
(lol Teen Girls Squad!!)
