My Birthday!

Yup, today is my birthday. 14 years old. Philip's teacher, Mrs. Danford, who I also had, told Philip, "Wow, she is growing up too fast. Soon she will be twenty." Um, I wouldn't go that far and say I'm soon to be twenty. Next year is my quince. I hope it goes as nice as Audrey's did. I just have to find some people for my court. I already have a few in mind...

Well, in first period choir since I am the attendance taker, I get to sit at the piano in the morning. On the music ledge I say a home-made book that said "Happy Birthday to a great friend". It was from Emily! She is neighbors with my past health teacher. I'm guessing she gave it to Mrs. Aumont, woh gave it to Mrs. Laktash, who gave it to me. It was so nice! In the back of it were the lyrics to The Best Of Friends from the Fox and the Hound.

Of course, when we were done warming up to begin class, Mrs. Laktash and the rest of the choir class sang happy birthday. Mona said that the seventh graders in the class were like "Who is Liz?" LOL. Well, in choir it was also voice testing day (dun dun dun da....).My row of altos went up first from our section. It was me, Victoria, Brandi, and Stephanie. During this one part where we had to do "doot doot doot ect." a cappella, I was about to burst out laughing for no apparent reason! Probably because I felt stupid saying doot doo doot. Anyways, when we were done, Mrs. Laktash said "Now, ladies and gentlemen, that is what a voice test is supposed to sound like". I was so glad I did well because I hate that song! When we sat down, Victoria was like "I was about to start laughing because your nose was whistling!" Well, that's because I am just getting over a cold! :)

At lunch, Tylesha gave me a card. It was so sweet. I'm so lucky to have such awesome friends :) The pizza at lunch was awesome!

Then came Spanish. Of course Hayley told Senora Seroke it was my birthday. So, she called me and Thomas (who has the same BD) up to the front of the room. I put on a turquois sombraro while the class sand "Cumpleanos feliz..." I could feel my face turning beat red!

Then boring classes and I left. Now I am home. I got some cards in the mail which were really nice :) Tonight mom is making my favorite dinner (homemade macaronni and cheese, chicken patties, and biscuits MMM!) and she bought this pretty little baby cake. It's so cute! We will have a nice dinner, cake, and a few gifts. This has turned out to be a great day. Thanks everybody for helping to make this 14th year of my life special. I love you all! :-*
