NightFall

Corny title, I know. Well, Audrey did a really good devotion on eating disorders and how horrible they are. And they are a sin. She should teach more often!!

I have decided to attempt to try and make a blog for our youth group. I will post the address later when I actually have it more together than it is now.

Well, its really late and I'm tired so I'm gonna go.

Quite An "Uneventful" Day

Well, today was, as some might say, b-o-r-i-n-g. There wasn't much to. I woke up this morning with the urge to go bowling. Yes, that's it, bowling. Why you ask? I do not know. I guess I was so anxious to make this spring break actually worthwhile. Anyways, my mom took Philip to the doctor and Audrey made lunch. It was discusting. And not to put down Audrey, it wasn't her fault. It's the (generic) brand. It was goopy and waaaaay too cheesy. Even my dog wouldn't eat it. Like I said, I have never tasted any food quite as horrible as that. It looked so good on the box, though!!
Me and Audrey also cleaned our room. Man, it was a disaster. Now it is like a shock when you walk into it. It's quite a drastic change. Watch them make a reality show entitled "Cleaning The Hembree Girl's Room". I wouldn't doubt it, they have one for every other circumstance imaginble: boxing, cleaning a garage, making a lemon cool to drive, watching two newly married celebrities bite eachother's heads off, surviving on some forgein island, interships, meeting the man of my dreams!, and the list goes on and on. I think a good reality show would be that "Tiny House" one on the Geico commercial. I actually thought that was real when I first saw it.
Anyways, Philip and my parents went to McDonalds for a baseball meeting so me and Audrey watched "Max Keeble's Big Move". Wow, never ever watch that. Of course, I am 13 and Audrey is 15 and that movie is made for, what, 9 year olds? but it was way too silly. There had to be humor in one form or fashion with every line that they said. Although, I have to admit, I did give a chuckle in some parts, but, again, way to silly for me. I enjoy more of a suspenseful type of movie, like "The Forgotten" or "The Day After Tomorrow". Although, I do like funny stuff some times though, like the "Princess Bride" Now that's a good movie.

Well, I have not much else to say so...

*bye*

The Passion of the Christ

The Passion of the Christ Posted by Hello
I recently saw the this movie and can not even begin in explain to you the great impact it had on me. I remember in Sunday school how my teachers would tell us that Jesus died on the cross to take away our sins. I always knew that it was really painful and that He suffered a lot. I mean, sure, we had flannel graphs and "Resurection Eggs" to help us understand, but I just thought "Wow, glad that He loved me enough to go through that torture for me" That was when torture wasn't the key word.
The movie makers did a good job of making this movie as good as possible, but they couldn't even touch how grusome and horrible it was. It was infinity times worse. And not just physically by mentally. God poured out all His wrath on him and it pleased Him to bruise his son. He turned his back on him and Jesus was forsaken. I can't even begin to fathom the pain Jesus went through on the cross.
Through out all the time I saw Jesus being tortured, the thing that made me go into tears was just thinking that He did that so that I could live with Him in Heaven. I got to thinking that I disobey for the dumbest things and reasons, which added to the pain he went through. It made me feel guilty that I am so caught up in what I want to do, I forget that I am hurting others.
I encourage you if you have not seen this movie to go and rent it. Or, read the Bible, it is more edifying. But, of course, it is good to see it with your eyes once in awhile.

Bored Out of My Mind!!

As you can tell, I am quite bored

Statistics

Have you ever looked at my Blog hits statistics? If you haven't go to the bottom of the sidebar and you should see a little mouse with a wab of cheese with numbers in it [that is how many times my blog has been viewed] below that, you should click on what looks like a bar graph with a little magnifying class. Click on this icon and a a graph should pop up. Look at the page views. It is viewed mostly on the weekdays, the days i am in school, where i can go on the computer because i am grounded at home. Ain't that just plain pathetic? i am practically the only one who views this thing! Do you? Well, obviously, you do or else you wouldn't be reading this. Open up my guestbook and write in an entry telling me YOU were here. Thanks a lot! (or how some people spell it ALLOT) lol

Just typing

Hey, i am @ school again...i finally get ungrounded on friday bcuz tha is the beginning of spring break. i am really looking forward to friday bcuz it is em's bday [[#13 woot woot]] lol.
anyways, i went with my mom and sister on saturday to the mall to look for Easter outfits. we found nothing and went to Khols. they had a pretty wide selection of clothes. finally, after trying on millions of outfits, we bought something! audrey get a pink shirt with a l. green, pink, i think yellow, and pale white skirt with those colored stripes going down diagonally. i got a peachish coral shirt with a green flower skirt with the same colored flowers on it. im glad i got it, i like it alot. then we got jewlery. we still have to go shopping on saturday for more stuff. i cant wait. i love the Easter morning Sunrise breakfast. the pastor and astrida always greet us with 'He is risen' and everyone responds with 'He is risen, indeed' Then we get to eat donouts, eggs, and other bfast foods. we have an "annual" egg breaking contest. after breakfast we go up for the Easter cantata. this year it is alittle different. the choir is singin and then us girls are singing, the teens, the kids, and there will be some narration. vicki and libby are going to be doind 'Via Delerosa' duet. audrey::i know how u look forward to that. It is really pretty and they are going to be adding some choral reading of the lyrics by Clint and Kristen.

I cant wait until Thurday at 3:06 [*spring break starts*] and there is the student/teacher basketball game. only the eighth graders play, but i still get to sit on the bench. ((woot woot)) lol and then it is em's party.

i cant wait 'til this week is over!

Voice of Truth

Here's a song that is played on the radio and has been #1 on the 20 Countdown Magazine song list for like 13 weeks! I happen to like it myself and thought i would share these powerdul lyrics with you.

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of faith it takes climb out of this boat I'm in
AND onto the crashing waves

To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
And He's holding out His hand

But the waves are calling out my name
And they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again. "Boy, you'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"

-Chorus-
But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of strength it takes to stand before a giant
With just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
Shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out my name
And he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
Time and time again. "Boy you'll never win!"
"You'll never win!"

-Chorus-

But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves they don't seem so high
From on top of them lookin' down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me

-Chorus-

-I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth

at school again

well, here i am at school again. thsi is sad, that this is the only place that i can type. i stay up during recess and lunch just to go on the computer bcuz i am grounded from the computer. actually, these are all of the "priveleges" that i have lost/gained:::
