Yikes

Ok. I'm definatly convinced that it's time to update. Last time you heard from me was like 12 days ago. Yepp. I'm still alive and breathing. I hate going long periods without saying anything, but I always just put off posting. Hah. So I just got home from practice. It was up at Ellet because we were having pictures taken for the football program. So we had to run 2 perimeters around the school .. which takes up the whole block. I only thought we had to do one, so I ran it hard. But then he's like ok go it again. So I was a little tired to say the least. Then we got the team picture and individual pictures taken. Hah. I mos deff will not be posting those on here. I saw my 6th grade social studies teacher, Mrs. Jones, which was scary.

Vacation was great. It was sooo awesome to see my family, who I only see about once a year. Saturday-Monday we stayed at my Aunt Susie's and Uncle Sean's house in Columbus. They took us to the Dublin Irish Festival, which I thought was funn. Except the bagpipe concert thing. Audrey and I were like crying because that thing was piercing our ears and was like torture. There were a lot of men in kilts, which was soooo disturbing. I had the best lemonade there in my life. Oh geez, I was in heaven for the 3 minutes I had it. On Sunday, Aunt Susie took me, Audrey, and Philip to the Easton Town Center. I guess the guy who founded Bath and Body Works lives in that area, and so he built the enter place. Wow. I was soooo huge. The McDonalds there seriously looked like a hotel. Everything was so huge. Audrey and I went to the Buckeye Corner, the ultimate OSU store everrrr. Wow. We seriously stayed in there for like 45 minutes. I loved it :).

So we left Monday to go down and see my Aunt Sue and Uncle Larry. That was a bunch of fun, too. They took us to the lake and we went tubing in their fishing boat. Hah. We totally busted the motor and it went super slow. But it was a lot of fun to drive. They have a nice house and it was just nice to relax for a week. We came back on Thursday. We stopped at Circle K, my new favorite place everrr, and got polar pops for 59 cents. I got a 32 oz. coke. Wow. That was good :)

So yes. We had a very good vacation. The missions week is going by well. But I will post all about that at the end of this week. :)

ow i just hit my funny bone ..

oh cheese. don't you hate when that happens ?? i sure do. there is absolutly nothing funny about it. it's just flat out painful and an annoyance because your elbow is forever tingling. ugh.

anywho .. today was pretty awesome. i woke up at 7:56 and was like, "ugh .. my alarm is going to go off in 10 minutes (for some reason i set the alarm to 8:06 ..) and i'm going to have to get up and go to cross country." right then my mom comes in and told us that the news people said that it was too hot for people to be excersising so we didn't have to go to practice. i swear a bright light came through the window and i heard the angels singing the hallelujah chorus. that was probably one of the happiest moments of my life. cross country is sort of bittersweet these days. i absolutly HATE IT WITH A PASSION but i know it's only doing me good. and as i run up and down the flowing hills of Ohio while my legs are throbbing i just think to myself, "pain is only weakness leaving the body and this will won't hurt me .. only help to get better." 1 corinthians 9:24 is constantly running through my head. sometimes i wished i living in Kansas .. where hills are pretty much non exsistant.

so i made some delux macaroni and cheese and then we went over to the Kozy's to swim. we had sort of a belly smacker contest. philip definatly took the cake. probably because he's an insane adolescent boy. it felt good just to get out of the heat :). me and em played this strange dunking game that was fun and sort of seemed like we were baptising eachother. we didn't attempt the volleyball game today. we would have died .. literally.

dad is working late tonight so we grilled some hamburgers for dinner. i made some cheesecake that my family will eat if they are brave enough. it's that jell-o no bake cheese cake and the whole time i was making it i was thinking of bill cosby. i miss those old commercials .. like spaghettios, cookie crisp, fruit roll-ups (notice the food theme going on here ..). oh oh and everybody i ask this to doesn't remeber this. ok it's like for fire safety and there is a boy and a girl in a kitchen and their smoke alarm talkes to them telling them not to play with fire. it was like on saturday mornings during ONE SATURDAY MORNING or on Channel 3 during like Colby's Club House and Joy Junction. does ANYBODY remember that ???? or am i just insane ??

ok well i think we're going to go out maybe to get some movies. g'bye :D
