iTS EARLY && THERE AiNT MUCH TO DO ..

Woo isn't that cool ?? Hah. I made it WITHOUT Photoshop. lol. But im trying to find a way to download Photoshop for free from the internet because i really want/need it. But of course that's like an impossibility. So, today is Monday, correct ?? So I guess yesterday was Sunday. And yesterday's yesterday was Saturday. Ok, let's go ahead and start with that ..

Saturday was an amazing day. The youth group headed over to Firestone Park for our annual Fireworks Outreach. This year we had a booth with carpetball, which was a real people grabber. We handed out VBS flyers and tracks to people walking by, and even handed out candy and free pens. I guess people thought it was like incredible that we were FREE. Even the magic show didn't cost anything. And Bobby did an awesome job at that :). We even went out to witness to people. I always get nervous, but said countless prayers which deff helped. Even through the regection we managed to keep on going to the Lord. After the day, we saw the super fireworks and headed home.

Sunday: church. We had Sunday School outside and a big buggish thing kept buzzing around my head. I'm like "IT'S SATAN trying to distract me !!" Then we went in at 4:30ish to set up for VBS. I went downstairs and saw that a window was busted out in the game room. I thought maybe that just some kids were goofing around and got kind of mad. Then, I went down to the closet to find some duct tape. I heard something in the teen room and when I looked over to my right to see a person's shadow on the floor. Ok, by then I was probably mayonaise white and I bulted up the front steps faster than speedy gonzalez on steroids. I ran up to find Ross and probably looked a fool when I tried to explain to him what happend. So he went downstairs to check it out. Now, he's a big tough guy, but I was scared for him so I went down too. Hah. Like I could really do anything like protect him. Yea right. LOL. But it didn't seem like anyone was downstairs, which was a relief. Audrey and I were in the nursery with Karley, Kolby, and Korey. Those kids are fun :)

Well, theres not much to say about today so far since it pretty much just started. So, I guess I'll pots later.

Daggon Storm ;; Ugh !!

Yea, I realize that I sort of sound like a hillbilly, but hey, I am my father's daughter, right ?? Wow, that that too many comas in the last sentence. Hah. Well anyways, as you probably are all aware of the humongo storm last night, it doesn't seem necessary for me to tell you about it. Tippy of course was going absolutly pshycotic. She had a fever of like 120, her tongue was hanging down to the floor, and she was shaking more than a foot massager. And since she is all skin and bones, you could hear her banging against the hardwood floors and she sat out in the hallway. At one point in the night, I saw her crawl under my bed and was kept awake by her bones hitting the floor. Hah. Somehow I managed to fall asleep despite all the noise. I had a nice long talk with God and took care of some things that have been bugging me lately. So, this morning I feel refreshed and happy :D. And I've decided to pick up where I left off in my devotions much too long ago.

Since school has let out, I've been more happy with my life. Maybe it's because I'm not surrounded in the drama and depressing people who try to bring me down to their level with their lack of self esteem and worth. Or maybe it's because I can be more of myself at home. Not to say that I put on an act at school, which I don't, but at home I'm more apt to be relaxed. And even though I am bored a lot of the time (but hopefully things will change, thanks to Clint's column) I actually enjoy being home.

So Saturday, we teens are heading out to Firestone Park for the annual Fireworks Outreach. I always have fun with that. This year I'm determined to find out what the heck a funnel cake is, but more importantly gain a little more courage about talking to the people. I find it intimidating to just walk up to a person. Usually I'm a friendly person to strangers, always talking to the waiters, McDonald's register people, and Wal-Mart sticker ladies, but then I think to myself what I would feel like if a Catholic or Muslim or whatever came up to me and tried to talk to me about how their faith is the right way, when I am not at all willing to leave my beliefs. I know this isn't the right mindset, so hopefully I'll be able to change my attitude about this soon. :)

WHEW !!

I'm not really sure how long it's been since I last posted, but it seemed to me like it was definatly time to update. Time goes by a lot slower in the summer, so Monday seemed like forever ago. Audrey and I just got home from our run around the neighborhood. I did the stupidest thing by eating just a tiny sliver of cake before we ran. Hah. Yeah, that wasn't too smart. But I did a lot better today than I did last time we ran. But I was kind of hogging up the sidewalk. I got the worse cramp inside my rib, but I remembered what Kristen told me about breathing out hard, which helps. The whole form sort of lost me since track, so I look pretty dumb when I run. I can't seem to be able to relax my arms and shoulders, which just burdens me and makes it harder to run.

Yesterday was a fun day. Hayley came over and we walked around the neighborhood. We saw Melissa twice which was just CRAZY !! And I ruined my brand new white flipflops. Ah, that made me mad. Haha, but I'm the genius who decided to take a walk in them. I never realized how many bridges there are in Akron. Theres like a bajillion. There's the one in the old man's backyard, which is fun to run across and make him mad. Then at Goodyear Metro Park theres like 50. Then there is the blue bridge, the Y bridge, the one-right-on-my-street-that-I-don't-know-what-it's-called bridge, and haha that's all I can think of. But I know there is more. Woo and Mom just yelled and told me that we got The Notebook from Netflix in the mail. I've been wanting to see it forever. I read the book, which was just flat out awesome.

Well, I'm not really sure what's going on today. Mom needs to go grocery shopping (woo, we have no foood) and hopefully I can hang out at Emily's. Well, I'm going to go try to upload some pics to the youth group blog. G'bye.

BORED AND BLOGGING XXXXXIII OR SOMETHING CLOSE TO THAT ..

Well, I just got home from Phil's game. They lost. :( Poor kids. They've only won one game this season. But pretty much their only problem is the pitching. They can't seem to find a kid who outshines the others, so they're constantly switching them while the runners keep getting walked in. But Philip has come a long way from last year. He's blasting those balls into the outfeild, where as last year he was too shy to swing. I love him :D

So today, Audrey and I were planning on running again. But when the alarm went off at 7:30, Audrey was like, "I ate too much food. I can't run today." Haha, which is true. We ate sooo much food last night, we were still full this morning. But we took a walk as sort of a substitute. We were making fun of Tippy because ew her back legs look so hilarious when she walks. Then we came home, and went to the Kozy's. Woo, me and Em just layed out on this gigantic new tube they bought and were just like so fascinated because the sun looked like the moon with sunglasses on. Psh, yea we're weird. ;) Then we played cards and hah of course I lost every time.

And now I am so amazingly bored and have no idea what to do with myself. I'll probably go and finish cleaning my room. And eat a popsicle.

Friday, June 9

Oh wow .. well today was the last day of school. And needless to say, it was kind of hard. I mean, I was always like "this is the last time I'm going to ______ (fill in the blank)" In first period choir, we had a talent show ?? of somesort. I did The Moose Song with Libby and Kiera. Everyone was looking at us like we were retarded. Hah. It was great. And then Margo got up to sing "My Heart Will Go On"...... While she was singing, I was just thinking about this being my last day of middle school EVER and just realizing that wow, I'm in highschool next year. I looked over at Victoria and we just both started crying. Me and her starting talking this year and shes became a good friend.

Then came Wentzel's .. I am going to miss that class soooo much !! That is the class I looked forward to the most. I definatly had the most fun with Wentzel. Even he is was the most opinionated man I have ever met. :) Libby brought in cupcakes and Beth Krochka gave me a milk chug. I think the camera is about to die because I have taken so many pictures in the past couple of days.
After 9th period, we all had to go back to homeroom. Ah. That was so sad. Kiera is going to St. VM and so saying goodbye to her, and knowing I'm not going to see her for the longest time, was sad. And Lydia. Oh wow. I absolutly love that girl to death, and she's going to St. VM too. :'( I don't want to go to highschool. But I mean, it's not like I can do anything about it so I just have to be optomistic about it. Atleast I'll have Audrey :)

Wednesday was the 8th grade recognition assembly. I played in the orchestra as everybody came in and got seated. I wasn't too thrilled about that because I wanted to sit in the crowd with everybody else. And wow, my arm was throbbing. But I got to sit with Lydia which was fun. She kept taking weird pictures of Mrs. Stroll and Mr. E, though. Haha.I was so sad when Mrs. Leas recognized the orchestra. I've known her since I was in 4th grade, and my first orchestra class was on September 11, 2001. She was a great teacher and I'm going to miss her a lot. I got some awards for basketball, track, NJHS, and that sort of stuff .. but then what really surprised me was that I won the Scholar Athlete award. I had absolutly no clue. I remember the award from playing in the 8th grade assembly last yeat, but did NOT think that I would win it the next year. It was really nice to get it, though. :)
