well, i did promise ..
ok. so i deff didn't that i would get that many comments so soon. and i've been procrastinating with the posting. so here it is. :] friday at school was so fun. all the periods were shortened woo. except for the algebra test we had, all the teachers pretty much just were like blahhhh. i take that back. especially science. we had a firedrill .. or should i say that train was a-comin' because that's exactly what it sounds like. we talked to the firefighters but they wouldn't give us jr. firefighter stickers :'(. they didn't even know it was a drill. they actually thought ellet highschool was ablaze in flames. so then we went back inside and mr. gambaccinni promised us the day before that he would blow something up. so we mixed a little bit o' zinc and a dash of hydrogen oxide or something like that and then we created (duh duh daaaah) hydrogen in a ballooooooon. which then we put over a candle and it went kaboom. it wasn't that cool though. we were expecting like the firefighters to have to come again. maybe then we could get a sticker ..
so yea .. then we had a pep assembly. which cross country was in. dude i seriously got goosebumps because those kids are so loud. oh, and because me and janell were talking about the creepy scene in willy wonka where they go through the tunnel. but yea .. audrey was feeling pretty bad to the bone as we walked across the gym floor to go sit in the wooden chairs of honor. or that's what i call them. not a big deal. after coach cochran recognized us i went up to the bleachers and was acting absolutly stupid and crazy with julie and hayley. i practically went deaf in both ears, and mute from all the screaming. but of course sophmores won and got the sing the SCHWEEEET alma mater. i'm so jealous *cough cough*.
then i came home and chilleddd before going to the football game. i had fun. my buddy kiera from st.v-m who i haven't seen in 79 years was there wooo. it was so awesome to see her again. :]. i can hardly speak this morning because of those hot chocolates who do not disappoint on the hot aspect.

Salt Fork 2006
We, meaning my family, just got home from camping at Salt Fork for the weekend. I had a lot of fun :).
So, we headed up there Friday after school and stuff. It took us awhile to get all situated and to put all the stuff in the cars, but finally we managed to leave the house and get on the road. Dad lost the key to the cargo thingy that goes ontop of the car. Hah. No big deal, right ?? I mean, it has latches and all that jazz that should keep it secure. Wrongooo. FOUR TIMES we had to stop on the highway because it flung open. The first time, Dad had to run about half a mile down the highway to get a sleeping bag. Whew. I never saw anybody run so fast in my life. Then we ended up in some sort of ghost townish place called Cambridge and it took us 10 minutes to realize we were in the wrong place. After we finally found the park, we took a wrong turn and oh geez .. I was getting stressed out and I'm only 14. And it's not like we have never been there before so we could use that as our excuse, because we have. I guess it was just pitch black so it was hard to find our way around. Hah, right Dad ??
Well, once we got there we had fun. I enjoyed playing with the kids, who definatly never ever get tired .. ever. Karley was having the time of her life being pushed around on her tricycle. And Katie and Corey think I'm "Freaky Woman" for some reason I can't even remember. :] I love them. I loved especially at night just sitting around the campfire and listening to all the things people had to say. I don't think I love the people in my church anymore than when I get to hang out with them all weekend.
Thankfully it wasn't pouring down rain, so of course it was the total opposite and bright, sunny, and HOTT. Audrey adn I went on a bike ride down this humongo hill that was the scariest thing of my life, but so fun. Hahh. I can still see Audrey behind me trying to ride back up. Aww. She's so cute :] LOL

Before I Leave ..
I thought I would leave something on here before we leave today. On Wednesday we had a meet at Ravenna. Thta course was so confusing. They had different colored arrows for each mile: 1 was blue, 2 was white, and 3 was pink. Pretty much the whole course was 3/4 of a mile and we had to run around it over 3 times. But the thing was, on the same mile you had to run in the same areas a couple times, so you were still following the same arrow. But you didn't know if you were going the right way. Hah. Yea, I did okay. I didn't make much progress from the last race: 28.34. I wasn't having that great of a day anyways so I can blame it on that :] Hahh .. i kid. But yea, we ended up loosing 24 to 31. Ugh.
Today is the first pep assembly of the year. I'm kind of excited for that. Audrey says it gets pretty crazy. They're recognizing football, volleyball, and cheerleading today. CC and other stuff will be in two weeks. I'm making some new friends, which is cool. I feel more outgoing I guess this year. And I know that sounds really weird to my churchers. Hahh. :] I mean, if it is possible to be more outgoing.
So yesterday I spent a wholeeee lot of time licking envelopes for the invitations to my quince. I only got school people done, so yeah. Those envelopes taste soo discusting eww. I'm going to invent flavored envelopes, even though I'm sure they already exsist. OOh. Tropical mango envelopes. Or chocolate mousse. Oh baby. Those sound tasty. Hmm or vanilla icing envelopes. :] WOO.
So after school today, we are packing up and going camping. I was kind of sad, because this is the only camping trip we are taking this year. But I know it will be a lot of fun :]. It always is, especially with the crazy people that I love so much. I wonder if Twila will be there .. I hope so. It won't be the same without her :(

The Amazing Race 2 =)
Ok, so this years game was a wholeeee lot of fun. Don't you agree, Emily? ("Yes I do") Alright so here's how it went down : We all met at the church on Friday to get the information and begin the race. Brittany, Kristen, DJ, and I all got into the Adam's van and Kristen drove us to their house, where we met up with another team. We got envelopes and were told not to open them until the vans drove away. DJ and I were a group. Our envelope told us to go to Firestone Park (the street) but being the smart batch of cookies we were, we ran to Firestone Park Park. Hah. Yea. We were a tad lost to say the least. But we met up with a very nice looking SOCCER MOM who assisted in helping us find our destination. We found Vicki and then had to track down Emily and Michael. After that, we got clue #1 !! Woo !! The race had begun :)
We opened it up and had a Roadblock. It said to pick a patient person, so naturally, we picked Em. The clue led us to Firestone Metro Park where she Had to flip over like a million blocks to find a clue. After a couple minutes, we got the clue which led us to Parason's. Hah. The highlight of the evening. Each team had to order and scarf down 2 large spaghetti dinners, the garlic bread that came with it, the two sideorders, and 4 large waters. Whew. Michael was quite beastly with that pasta. He ate that as fast as it took me and Em to eat the other. DJ ate all the fries and was about to puke. After we finished that, we were so full and had an "accident" in the parking lot involving me and my stomach. Hah. Well then we got our next clue which was the pitstop for that night. We literally raced the other team to the Kuhn's front porch, where we got 3rd place. I ate some TUMS and then called it a night back at the Keys's.
In the morning, we all had the responsibility to get our lunches packed, wake ourselves up, and get all our luggage into the van before our designated time to leave. Not necessarily in that particular order. Hah. My team left at 9:12, 12 hours after we arrived at the pitstop. We jumped into the van and opened up our clue which led us to the McKinley National Museum. We had to count how many steps led up to the momument and give that number to Clint and Carl atop. 96 was the total. After we gave our answer, we rannnn back down into the van to see our next destination.
That! took us to the DoughBoy statue located at the corner of Graham and some other street in Cuyahoga Falls. Our team almost died running across traffic to get our picture taken with the handsome fellow. Then we couldn't find Vicki. Hah. But when we finally did, we opened up the next clue to find a DETOUR. Our choices were to either walk to 1.8 mile trail at the Gorge Metro Park or ride the platoon boat for $3 a person. We chose the hike. That trail was so beautiful and amazing. Except the fact that DJ made us run half of it. Right when we finished, we saw Kristen's group just beginning. They were saying "WE'RE GOING TO RUN THE WHOOOLE WAY !!" and we were like, "Yea, goodluck with that :)" LOL I love them.
So THEN! the next clue took us to Chapel Hill Mall where our whole team EXCLUDING THE DRIVER had to pile into a photo booth. All we had was 20 so we needed change. I ran into DEB and the lady was like I can't open my register without a purchase. I'm like ugh to you lady. So DJ goes to buy a 99 cent popcorn to get change. Hah. Our pictures turned out funny.
The last clue took us to the Happy Day Visitor's Center at the Cuyahoga Valley place. We ran through this super cool tunnel then found some woman who told us to go find Carl on the Outlook place. Without thinking, we started hiking up, when in fact we COULDDD have driven. But like Emily and I discussed halfway through that sentence, we felt more accomplished hiking :). So we finally found Carl after forever. Then we had to unscramble a verse, which didn't take us too long. After we did that, we had to find Clint at the Kendal Lake Shleter. After forever hiking through the pouring rain and so many wrong turns and stuff we finally found him. It took us an hour and half to get to Clint from the Happy place, when it could have taken us 6 minutes. Oh well. :) Our team was first which was pretty rewarding.
So in the end of this amazingly long post, I'll just close with the fact that this was a blast. I'm still a little sore, but hey, I had a whole lot of fun :) COMMENT. THIS TOOK ME FOREVER.

Updation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. Need an updation, much ?? I'd say so. I've been really overwhelmed by the changes with school lately, and in my social life, which has really taken a toll on my free time. I definatly won't fill you in on everything, but I'll do my best to make this short enough to read in a day and a half.
The Ellet cross country team is doing quite fabulous, I must say. 7-1 .. with our only loss to Green. In that meet, we competed against 5 teams, defeating Firestone, Massillon, East, and Coventry. The next meet was at Barberton and we took first place there. I forget what all schools were there. This past week we had two indivationals, one against Hoban and the other against Walsh. I didn't run in the Hoban meet because of my knee. Those are horrible. They're a 3K instead of the regular 5K, so thus making it so that you need to run faster since it is a shorter distance. Ugh. I was pooped ...
Highschool is awesome too. I have a lot of classes with friends who keep me laughing. For the most part, my teachers and classes are pretty cool, with the exception of 5th period .. Hahh Audrey. :] I really like Ellet. It's still the beginning of the year and I'm just getting used to the changes, but I'm enjoying it. I have lunch and orchestra with Audrey which is cool. And me and Audrey get free lunches still hahh. It's carried over from last year woo. That makes me excited. And the vending machines have apple juice with got me all wound up. I love that stuff :]
Tomorrow is the church picnic which shall be fun. I deff want to play in the vintage baseball game and eat a whole bunch of food because you know I love my food.
